Transportation policy

Welcome to Trueforgecreations. We specialize in the design and production of high-end handmade knives, dedicated to providing every customer with a safe, professional, and reliable shopping and delivery experience. To help you better understand the order processing, logistics transportation, delivery time, and after-sales transportation services, we have specially formulated the following transportation policies. 1. Order Processing Time: All orders will enter the production and review process after payment. Since most of Trueforgecreations' products are handmade or limited custom-made, the order processing time will vary depending on the complexity of the product, inventory status, and order quantity. 
   - 1. In-stock products: For products with sufficient inventory, we usually complete order review, packaging, and shipping arrangements within 2-5 working days. 
   - 2. Customized products: For engraved, size adjustment, material customization, or special process requirements, the production time is usually 7-20 working days. Some high-end custom works may require longer time, and we will inform you of the estimated completion time via email after confirming the order. 
   - 3. Holidays and Peak Periods: During holidays, promotional activities, or peak order periods, order processing time may be extended accordingly. We will notify customers in advance and continuously update the order status. Please note that the order processing time does not include transportation time. 

2. Delivery Area: Trueforgecreations currently offers international transportation services to multiple countries and regions. Due to different legal restrictions on knife products in different countries and regions, we will decide whether to accept orders based on local import policies. Some countries or regions may restrict knife imports, customs clearance, or personal possession, so we reserve the right to refuse shipment or cancel the order. Customers are responsible for confirming whether importing related products is allowed in their local laws. If the package is detained, returned, or destroyed by customs due to local policy restrictions, the related responsibility and costs may need to be borne by the customer. 

3. Transportation Methods: To ensure the safety and stability of product transportation, Trueforgecreations will select appropriate logistics service providers based on order amount, delivery area, and logistics efficiency. Our commonly used transportation services include, but are not limited to: • USPS • UPS • FedEx • DHL • EMS • Other internationally certified logistics service providers. The logistics methods available in different regions may vary. The system will automatically display the available delivery methods and corresponding shipping fees on the checkout page. For high-value orders, we may automatically upgrade to a signature confirmation service to ensure the safe delivery of the package. 

4. Transportation Time: The transportation time will vary depending on the destination country, customs procedures, weather conditions, and the efficiency of the logistics provider. The following times are for reference only: 
   - Within the United States: Standard transportation: 5-10 working days; Fast transportation: 2-5 working days 
   - International orders: Standard international transportation: 7-21 working days; Fast international transportation: 5-10 working days 
   Remote areas, island regions, or special areas may require longer transportation time. Please note that the transportation time is the estimated time provided by the logistics company and is not an absolute guarantee. Uncontrollable factors such as bad weather, flight delays, customs inspections, and international policy changes may all cause delays.  V. Freight Explanation The order freight will be automatically calculated based on the following factors: • Delivery address • Package weight • Package size • Delivery method • Product value  During some promotional periods, we may offer a limited-time free shipping service. The free shipping offer is only applicable to designated countries, regions, or orders with a specific amount. Please note: • International orders may incur import taxes, value-added taxes, customs duties, or other local fees; • The above fees are usually not included in the product price or shipping cost; • The relevant fees are borne by the buyer.  Trueforgecreations cannot estimate the specific tax standards in each country. It is recommended that customers consult the local customs department in advance.  VI. Order Tracking After the order is dispatched, the system will automatically send a confirmation email containing the logistics tracking number. Customers can query the shipping status of the package through the logistics official website. Some international logistics information updates may be delayed, especially during customs processing. If you do not receive an update on the tracking information within 7 working days after dispatch, please contact us promptly. We will assist you in querying with the logistics company. Receipt Instructions To protect your rights and interests, please carefully check the outer packaging when receiving the package for the following situations: • Packaging damage • Open marks • Obvious compression deformation • Liquid contamination • Missing seals  If you find any abnormalities, please take photos as evidence before signing for the package and contact the logistics company and us promptly. For high-value products, we recommend that the customer sign for the package in person. If the package shows that it has been signed for but the customer has not actually received it, please contact the local logistics company to confirm the delivery location first, and then contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to assist in the investigation, but we may not be responsible for all losses caused by incorrect addresses, proxy sign-offs, or theft.  VIII. Address Information Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information when placing an order, including: • Recipient's name • Street address • Postal code • Contact phone number • Email address  If the package is returned due to incorrect address filling, incomplete information, or no one signing for it, the customer may need to bear the cost of re-shipping. After placing the order, if you need to modify the address, please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has been dispatched, we may not be able to modify it.  IX. Customs and Import Liability During international transportation, some countries' customs may inspect the package. Customers need to understand and comply with local laws regarding the import, possession, and use of knives. Trueforgecreations is not responsible for the following situations: • Customs detention • Customs confiscation • Import permit issues • Regional legal restrictions • Tax disputes • Clearance delays  If the package is returned due to local legal reasons, we will negotiate a solution with the customer after receiving the returned package. The original shipping cost, return cost, and related handling fees may not be refunded.  X. Package Loss and Transportation Damage We highly value the safe transportation of every order. All products will undergo strict packaging before dispatch to reduce transportation risks. 1. Package Loss If the logistics status is not updated for a long time or shows as lost, please contact us promptly. We will assist in submitting an investigation application to the logistics company. The investigation period is usually 7 to 30 working days, and the specific duration depends on the logistics company. After confirming that the package is lost, we may offer the following solutions: • Re-delivery of the product • Store points • Partial or full refund The specific solution will be determined based on the actual situation. 2. Transportation damage If the goods are damaged during transportation, please contact us by email within 48 hours after receiving the package and provide the following information: • Order number • Photos of the outer packaging • Photos of the damaged product • Brief description After verification, we will provide a reasonable solution as soon as possible. 11. Refusal and returning packages If the package is returned to our warehouse, we will contact the customer after confirming receipt. Please note: • The original shipping fee is usually not refunded; • The costs incurred during the return process may be borne by the customer; • Re-delivery requires payment of a new shipping fee. 12. Batch shipment If the order contains multiple products and some products require a longer production time, we may conduct batch shipment based on inventory. Batch shipment will not charge the customer additional fees. Except for special circumstances, we will notify the customer in advance via email. 13. Force majeure In the following force majeure situations, the transportation time may be affected: • Natural disasters • Extreme weather • War or international conflict • Changes in customs policies • Global logistics disruption • Impact of the epidemic • Strikes • Flight cancellations In such cases, Trueforgecreations will do its best to assist the customer in following up on the order, but it cannot guarantee the specific delivery time. 14. Order cancellation 1. Unshipped orders If the order has not entered the production or shipping stage, customers can contact the email to apply for canceling the order. 2. Shipped or ordered orders For orders that have entered the customization production, packaging or transportation process, cancellation may not be possible. Customized products usually do not support no-reason cancellation. 15.
